One of my favorite pictures of my Green Cheek Conure Nemo, taking a bath in ice-cold water in the kitchen sink!

Okay...... and a belated Happy Birthday to my baby Ravynesque, who turned 3 years old on May 6. Can you believe she still has about 2 more years of growing to do?

Is this the original Nemo, or do you have a Nemo II now?
That is an old photo of Nemo. There is no Nemo II. i just can't bring myself to have another pet parrot. Although, G did finally get a new baby after Tequila died. What is so spooky about that is, the new bird, Godzilla (an Indian Ringneck) exhibits some of Tequila's mannerisms, even though they are different species, and never met.
We took in two birds from friends of ours who moved back to Canada a year ago, a very affectionate Senegal and a not-so-very-affectionate Quaker, heh. And we still have Jake and Sunny, and some small parakeets and two diamond doves. But i'm not interested in any new birds.
For a while i had thought about getting a crow (our Canadian friends have a domestic-bred African Pied Crow), but, we don't have the room for large bird like that.
And i *do* have my baby girl horse now. If you make it back here sometime, and you're interested, i'll be glad to take you to the farm to see her. Because she is also a special soul. i got VERY lucky with her, let me tell you.....
Is Claudius getting better for you? We have a new Quaker who is a total baby bird. How long does it take for horses to become fully grown? | |
