i like watching movies. i like having movies running as "background music" when i work. i like going to the movies with friends and family. Redbox has been my friend, LOL.
But recently i've found a new way to enjoy movies with friends. Through the magic of Twitter, my fiends get together, put on a movie simultaneously (or you know, as close as we can, heh), and start tweeting. i like it, especially when so many of my friends are hours or even TIME ZONES away from me. It's a way to bring everyone together for a couple of hours, having fun doing the same thing.
But, how to choose a movie? Sometimes there's a theme, sometimes it's just an idea. So here i'm going to post a list of movies as ideas for future movie tweet-ups. These are movies i have, so it's biased. Also, i have MOAR movies than what's listed here, so if any of my fiends out there want to add to the list, let's do it!

i started with movies cause i have more of those. But i almost added FIREFLY!
i've seen the Animatrix, but i don't have it.
<chuckle> Just making sure that was what i'd heard about, a series vs a movie, i didn't know who stars in it. And i've heard very VERY good things about it, but i don't watch TV so there are many good things i miss, i know.
And well, i like some of the recent things RDJ has done. Ironically, as much as i like him in the Sherlock Holmes movie, i think he's the biggest thing that doesn't fit in it. i just can't buy him as British. But, what i see in that movie is why i made that avatar, they're like House and Wilson, and i get a lot of entertainment value out of that.
i also like Rachel McAdams in her role. And i love her outfit in the end of the movie, i want to make something like that for myself :-)

We have lots of these movies and are game to do just about any of them. Except: Willie Wonka, Avatar - did not like either of these.
We do not have any Alien, Sherlock, Pirates, Logan's Run, Die Hard, Mirrormask, Up, The Nightmare.
Have all the rest and could rent or stream some others.

While I don't have a twitter account (yet), I have to put in a good word for the "Back to the Future" movies (my favorites are 1, 3, and 2, in that order). If you want a good laugh or need cheering up, Doc Brown and Marty McFly will do it.
Oh ho! Can i entice you over to the Dark Side? (We have Cookies(TM) )
i know i've seen Back to the Future 1 more than once, but i'm unsure on the others. i will add them to the new list!
Well, no. 2 is actually more on the dark side--1 and 3 are the best and funniest in my opinion. No. 2 is more a "rewrite" of no. 1. No. 3 definitely has some steampunk elements in it, as well. Doc Brown is cool.
